Today, the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) issued an emergency bulletin to alert the public to the risk of online fraud with an app called โPaiโ or โPaiPayโ running through Telegram bots, the App Store, and Google Play.
The National Bank of Cambodia pointed out that the program has the functions of account opening, recharge, transfer and payment, but the promotion activities in Phnom Penh and West Port are not officially authorized or licensed, and are illegal financial services.
