On March 24, the Phnom Penh police launched a raid on the Prek Pra sub-district of Tieqiaotou District, successfully destroying a hidden telecommunications fraud site and capturing 10 Vietnamese suspects on the spot.
According to on-site law enforcement officials, a large number of equipment was seized during the operation, including:
9 all-in-one computers
4 Desktop Hosts
10 mobile phones
After preliminary investigation, the gang is suspected of engaging in illegal activities such as online fraud and illegal lending (usury), which has formed a criminal chain of a certain scale.
